my cell phone drowned

my car remote control also drowned, and that acted up for a while but now it works.

but it's time to say goodbye to my multi-colored nokia phone.

so....

phone shopping time! i'm looking at the t-mobile sidekick. *ponder*
actually the blackberry pearl has far better reviews then the sidekick.

hmm. there's always the siren song of the iphone as well.

upon further review, the web browsing feature i want seems to still be slow on phones. i guess a used one will do.

Barton Creeek?
I thought I saw you at the Lost Creek putin yesterday...

we were in a white care and silver truck with kayaks...

at least the gurl I saw looked like one of your pictures here on LJ...

hope you had as much fun as we did...

Re: Barton Creeek?
wow. you recognized me from my LJ picture? yes, barton creek water got into my cell phone.

had a great deal of fun.. but instead of the 3 hour tripped we planned, it took us 6 hours.. and we got lost since we didn't know where to put out (spyglass was the original plan)
the older guy with us got heat stroke, and a bunch of army folks took him out of the river and drove him to his car.
and we left the keys to the car in the put-out place at the car in the put-in place.

seriously. it was a crazy day.
