It was beautiful, thanks. I suppose with the name I should have expected a kind of dance version of the Kama Sutra, but I wasn't prepared. BTW, there was one moment that seemed a little out of place between -3:00 and -2:55 when both of the onstage dancers were on their heels with the toe-end of the feet uplifted - that moment had a very clownish aire to it.

thanks for watching.

i didn't find it that erotic, but maybe i was watching the technicality and beauty of it instead of the relationships.

people did use to condemn dance because it was vertical sex.

That's an awesome duet. Beautiful, complex partnering choreography.

I get the feeling that I've seen it before, but that I also haven't. I know I've seen a piece with those wheeled dresses before, but I don't think it was this piece. Ah, memory is a funny thing.

Thanks for posting it though. Is good stuff.

When ABT visited austin they performed one of the petit morts. I love his stuff, it goes beyond boring ballet stereotypes.

I found it out now.
I watched something called Silk and Knife which was 5 choreographies by Jiri Kylian.
It had
Petite Morte (I LOVED the black "dresses")
Bella Figura
Sechs Danze
and three other choreographies.
AMAZING.
It had all theatre/arts reviewers in a frenzy.
