assasin's creed and dinner

haven't been posting much because i've been playing assasin's creed.. must.. reach.. target assasinations..

also tonight andy and i had dinner at the swelter shelter with igor, lucinda, carol and justin. it is always awesome to see people dork out in ways that you don't, and in this case justin and andy went into a punctuation dorkfest. i learned about m-dashes and n-dashes for the first time.

i've been trying to add more veggies to my diet, and a few days ago tried breading eggplants.. and it wasn't very good. today at igor's place, i had yummy guacamole, brussel sprouts and salad. so it is possible to find veggies i like. i just need someone to show me the way.

voice is still not fully back. it's probably at 80% right now.

Your post lacks in proper capitalization, and ellipsis is three dots, not two ;-).

capitalization is a waste of time.

AC
AC is cool. A bit repetitive missions, but a bundle of fun nevertheless.

Elder Scrolls is even better though, if you're into freeform roleplaying. It's enormously liberating to be able to do -anything- at -any- level.

Did you sweat your eggplant before breading it?

Once you cut eggplant, it's best to "sweat" it - toss the slices in salt in a colander and let sit for 1-3 hours. It pulls a lot of the bitterness out of the skin of the eggplant.

After it's sweated for its number of hours, you rinse it and press the slices between paper towels. Then bread and fry.

I LOVE eggplant, but it does take some prep-time to do properly.

i sweated it for 20 mins.. but didn't press or rinse it.

then i breaded it (first time i ever breaded anything) and put it in the oven.

maybe this was wrong. :/

tonight i may experiment with brussel spourts, there's a nytimes recipe on it.

brussel sprouts are cruciferous veggies like broccoli, kale and other greens that are full of delicious vitamins and minerals. I Luuuuurve them. Can you link to/send me the NYTimes recipe?

I've been playing Assassin's Creed too... though I've had to take a break while I'm visiting North America. I think I'm through Memory Block 3 and in the middle of Block 4. It's a cool game!
