"a little rounder"

Someone who hasn't seen me for a while said I was "a little rounder", granted, I asked for his opinion. He did say that I was still beautiful, though he said "in a different way".

Also, acid in my throat interfered with my sleeping today.

I guess it's time to buckle up and just do it. Exercise, lose weight. Which I've been trying to do, but it's time to get serious again. I know, I've thought that before. But I'm not about to gain back all the weight I've lost.

Person who said I was a little rounder: please don't reply to me via email or LJ to this post. It's not your fault, you didn't mean harm or criticism. I've been aware of my weight gain anyways.

The rest of you: I don't need patronizing or "but you're beautiful" comments. You try waking up with acid in your throat or not fitting in the expensive gorgeous dress you wore in a party last year.

I'm grumpy about my weight.

Yes! Know any good bike riding trails?
Do you like night bike riding? The heat gets to me.

Does get you ready for Pennsic, tho...

I actually like running in the afternoon. It isn't as hot as fencing practice, but it makes practice less miserable.

Course, you have 10-15 degrees on us, so exercising outside kinda goes from downright stupid (for me) to out-in-out dangerous (for you).

i'm skipping pennsic this year :(
but it's like in the 100s here right now. I went biking this morning at 7:30 am and it was fine.. but in the middle of the afternoon... I think not. I guess I've no excuse if I don't lose weight in the fall/winter.

I was going to suggest riding your bike more too. I've noticed that in the winter when I can't ride very much, I tend to get a little more chubby in certain areas...
