This was the first time I used conventional oil paints in a while. I've been using water-based oils because it was less toxic and had less odour. But I did miss normal oil paints, the texture. And it was a joy to return to it. I started this at art night at Carol's, finished most of it then. I did get a slight headache after all, but it may have been mostly because of Carol's turpentine.

Gorgeous :) I went out and bought a gallon of turpenoid and turpenoid natural the next day ;) $12 for a gallon, $15 for the next smaller size. Sorry about the headache, but in the future it will be more pleasant smelling to paint with me! Also, maybe we should start ventilating by opening the windows or something.

yeah.. we live in such small places. it'll be nice to have a real studio.
