I painted in my underwear, while listening to NPR's Marketplace.
Now off to go kayaking.
I'm shivering as I write this. Reminds me of my 3rd day down the Rogue river when I was cold and miserable.
Gene and I went kayaking at townlake. It was supposed to be calm and meditative. But instead, it was hard work! The wind was so strong, we took far longer going back since we had to go against the wind. The kayak was splashing against the water, and I thought I was in a class II rapid. We had to work so hard just to go forward.
It was a blast. I definitely felt alive.
I had a lot of fun. Though I'm cold and famished right now.
