veggie delight

Yesterday I went to the seamstress with my dress, and she told me March 29th will be my final measurements. It's also our final Biggest Loser weigh-in date.

I also have been trying to eat healthier because my allergies have been real bad lately. And as a carnivore, I barely eat any veggies. So I'm letting myself eat freely for lunch, but yesterday evening for dinner, I went to Daily Juice (my local organic/raw food place), and ordered 3 vegetable juices. And when my friend wanted to hang out after ballet class last night, we went to Whole Foods and I got another juice. I just finished the last juice for breakfast today.. and I do feel... a sense of well-being. I really really don't eat enough vegetables. I don't like vegetables compared to meat, carbs and sweets. So 4 glasses of vegetable juice is probably leaving my body in a state of surplus nutrition bliss. My cells are floating happily in green phytonutrients.

Is it possible for my taste buds to change and like vegetables? I hope so.

Yesterday was my 2nd ballet class after months of not going. One of the best parts of ballet is being able to wear leotards and tights and slippers. And then spending 1.5 hours of class admiring yourself in the mirror. The worse part is spending 1.5 hours of class hating yourself in the mirror. But I'm mostly accepting of my body nowadays.

I loaded a bunch of old party pictures on facebook, and it gives so much pleasure when people take one of my pics and make it their facebook profile picture. Squee!! Vegetable juice making me high!
