on genetics
So I posted about the twin study article on my FB group. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/07/12/magazine/the-mixed-up-brothers-of-bogota.html?referrer&_r=0
and a FB friend replied talking about how she met her half siblings and she found it pretty life-changing and awesome. Though she talked about other people who met their siblings and it wasn't that great.
And I was like. What the heck.
I added almost all the names that was on my father's orbituary on facebook. And sent them a quick note. http://death.sg/?p=2901
I didn't even know my father was dead until my husband mentioned something his mom said. And my FIL sent me the orbituary, he's a bit of an ancestor geek.
We'll see if anything comes out of it. They're from a rich family so they may think that I just want money. So they may not answer. But who knows. Life is short.

Hey.
So life is short. And I'm curious.
Anyways, I am now 36 years old, and just curious about all my half siblings and I think you are technically my newphew. smile emoticon
My father was Atang Latief. I assume he was your grandfather? If not, disregard it.
A bit about me, I grew up with my mother and her family, I knew who my father was, but we don't talk about him much. When I was 18 I moved to the United states to get a computer science degree at Cornell University. Graduated and moved to Austin, Texas to work.
I got married about 5 years ago, to my husband Andy. You can see his picture in my Facebook. Or here, in my photography page: http://nadinestudio.com/aboutme/
I now have a lovely daughter, she's still a baby.
Things I love doing: dancing, reading, writing, filmmaking, art.
My indonesian is not very lancar since I don't really hang out with Indos.
Anyways, I know this is an odd letter. But what the heck. Life is short.
I don't really want anything, besides getting to know the other genetic half of my family.
I got your name from my Father's orbituary.
Cheers
