I was at Daily Juice Cafe on 45th street, and went outside to talk to a co-worker on the phone. In the middle of the conversation, I felt a boom, like the building actually vibrated. I remember thinking "That's odd. Was that a boom?" Then got back to the conversation.
I just found out that a house 3 blocks away at Hyde Park had a natural gas explosion. Several people were injured, but I think no one died.
It's funny how the brain works.
Oh, I also figured out why I wasn't getting email replies on LJ. Apparently gmail suddenly decided they were spam. I unspammed them.
