Parkside food-gravanza

I've decided at Parkside the best foods are the Bone Marrow, and the Donut holes.

Steak tartare's - I like Sullivan's better
Corn soup - nothing special
Oysters - Um. I thought they were ok. The Shiny Seas were the best
Fish shots -- The ceviche was ok, I liked the amberjacks, but not the rest. Other people in the table loved it.
Tongue - I found it delicious even though I was repelled by the concept
Sweetbread -- I like the flavoring, but I don't think in general I like sweetbreads
Bone Marrow - YES! Best dish ever.
choc crunch - Ok.
Basil ice-cream and Banana ice-cream - Yes.
Pork trotter - That's pig feet. It was off the bone which was sad, and it had a weird flavor like cardamom or something.

The chef kept giving us free dishes, like 4 free dishes, and we think it's because we were ordering the weird food.

My fellow foodies were Maracuya, Icarus, his brother, SJ and Aaron, and the Chances.

The weird food
Sometimes, if you order the weird food, the staff will think you're food-critics and go out of their way to please you. Pretty sure that was the reason last time I ate in Wesselstuen, and they didn't only give us two free dishes, but also managed to "forget" one wine-bottle on the bill.

More likely though, it's just simply more fun to be a chef if you get to make the interesting food, as opposed to serving number 3712 of the standard-stuff.
