Yesterday, inspired by Julia Childs, I made an omelette, not really quite per her recipe, but I did some things I usually don't do. I used butter, and I kept the temperature really hot on my electric burner. The heirloom tomato I cooked became so delicious. Then I served part of it to the starving ballerino that was over. We had 2 ballet austin dancers over, one a full member, and one an apprentice. Miriam and her best friend also joined us, it was great.
I've started packing for my Richmond trip, I leave next Saturday.
