Going to sleep hungry sucks.

But the bright side is the number on the scale when you wake up, and how flat your tummy looks! Why yes, dancing around skinny chicks in leos and tights did get to me. And also during partnering class, we were doing lifts... where two guys stand on either side of you and help you as you jump in the air. It did feel like flying, but I was so self-conscious about my weight. Bah.

Went to ballet class yesterday, where it was so humid I kept dripping sweat. Then Andy and I watched Ponyo, which had great artwork, but we both agreed the storyline needed help. And I dislike watching Japanese movies with voiceovers, I'd rather read the subtitles.

scales can suck it.
My boyfriend tried lifting me up to see something last weekend and made a comment about either needing stronger shoulders or something about my weight. I told him he needed stronger shoulders.

I'm almost always hungry ('cept when I've just finished eating) so going to bed hungry happens fairly often in my life, but the nights where I eat well and am fully hydrated I get a WAY better workout the following morning.

He was definitely kidding, as he's been encouraging my current exercise program and loves the results. Ironically enough, I'm probably the heaviest I've ever been, but I look great.

I have a really fast metabolism, get up early, and tend to eat dinner when I get home from work at like 5:30 or 6 and then am too lazy to make myself more food later in the evening, so I often am getting ready for bed and opt for drinking more water instead of a bedtime snack. If I could bottle the "Oh, I'm hungry, but I guess I'm ok with that" brain-chemical and sell it, I'd make a mint.

nope. I don't count calories. I can tell you what kinds of stuff I'm eating, but not how much is in it.
