gym, party, dieting

Yesterday I was at the gym for 1.5 hours mostly because there was a Lost recap on, and I was fascinated at how the plot lines have twisted and turned and became so silly. I watched the first 2 seasons, but lost interest after that.

Then the ground hog day party at Michelle's, where I only had a glass of water since I was over my calorie cap for the day,  and then the ballet dancers were asking me why I wasn' t eating. Which was kind of ironic, and I awkwardly said, "I'm on a diet." Note to self: dress nicer when going to a ballet party. I had just came from the gym and there were 2 dreadlocks in my hair.

The Biggest Loser competition among my coworkers is getting heated. Some of the guys are going crazy, they're losing 7 lbs a week. One of them, a good friend of mine, David, is eating 1000 calories a day, and doing the P90X. It's not sustainable long term, and I'm curious how his metabolism will hold up. But men seem to have an easier time with weight loss. Muscles! Anyways, I'm not going to make disapproving faces at David, since a lot of people overeat and are obese and I don't make disapproving faces at them. A little period of deprivation is probably good for you.

2 hours Musical theater class today. I'm so busy :/ Sometimes it's fun, but sometimes I just want to stay home with a book and watch TV. I think I need a 3 days off, 4 days on social schedule.
