Things you do to calm yourself

What are some of the things you do to calm yourself? I am easily anxious. I tried meditation but feel easily antsy while doing it. Dancing may be the closest thing I have to being relaxed. Generally, being with people helps, but I want to be able to be calm when I am alone too.

Most of my anxiety attacks occur when I haven't eaten anything, so I always make sure that I have something to eat. Something good to eat, that is. Not junk food.

I also find hot tea very soothing. I have special teacups and saucers that I use for my extra stressed-out moments.

If I am very sad and/or distracted, I like to watch Groundhog Day -- that movie never fails to cheer me up.

Other things that calm me down:
* Organizing the books on my bookcase
* Playing/fingering marbles, smooth rocks, precious stones
* Reading Tarot cards

YMMV, of course.
