Stress

I've definitely reached wedding stress mode. It's now less then a month away, and I definitely feel pressure.

ARRRRGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

Ok. I don't know if that helped.

ARRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

That's better.

Tuesday: cake tasting. Fiddler on the Roof = Amazing.
Wed: Musical Theatre = fun, but D&R are still giving me the scheduling runaround on the wedding dance rehearsals. They're probably my least reliable vendor. At this rate, we'll do the the awkward-shuffle dance for our dance.

I still haven't gone to Men's Warehouse. Sorry Z.

So many vendors to poke and prod. It's fun sometimes, but stressful. The LJ Weddingplanning community is such a strange mix of proper etiquettes "shoulds" and "musts" and also a bunch of eclectic, offbeat brides.

GAH. And I'm flying out on Friday and missing out on more wedding planning!

If D&R truly flake on you, you don't need to resort to shuffling. I taught Paul to waltz for our wedding (it's not hard) and we made up a routine to our song and choreographed it and everything. Bear in mind my teaching him stemmed from my refreshers on the internet after having had cotillion when I ws in middle school. Not snazzy as done by professionals, but it wasn't just shuffle, shuffle with the "audience" being politely bored. There's lots of youtube videos on the basics of the most popular dances (waltz, foxtrot) and then we picked up a few ideas for "flourishes" by watching some clips of actual ballroom dancing.
