One of my dance partners tapped me on the shoulder last night, dragged me away, and then gave me tips on how to belt out the mini-solo I have. It's so funny how some people give you criticism and tips, and you are totally grateful, which I am with him. And another person does it, and you want to slap them in the face. It's all about context, delivery and pre-existing relationship.
Andy made some ice-cream last night, and invited a few people over, including the guy who gave us the ice-cream attachment, Tom B. It was caramel popcorn pecan ice-cream. It was more like soft-serve since he belatedly realize that ice-cream needs several hours of freezing. The conversation was about improv for a while, and my eyes were glazing over in boredom, but thankfully it changed topics ;-) to Tom's dating life.
I get a break today, Andy and I are going to Hyde Park Theatre's "Body Awareness" play today. Hope it's not triggering.
Free time soon! I'm so going to chill.
