So I've managed to finally reverse the weight gain, and I'm down 5 lbs. Part of it is from not being in Round Rock for lunch and eating so much, and visiting starbucks in an attempt to avoid going back to my cubicle. I still don't have a new eating routine though. Sometimes I wake up at 9 am and sometimes I wake up at noon.

Last Sunday I went to a wedding for the first time in a dozen weddings where I wasn't working. Though I did get antsy not working, thankfully, Jeremy (the groom) handed me a videocamera and put me to work. And then I took some pics with my Holga, and then talked shop with the professional photographers shooting that wedding. I was thinking to myself that they were the most unobtrusive photographers I've ever met. You could barely tell they were there during the ceremony. I'm not that invisible.

But it turned out they were photojournalist. The dude actually has a paying staff position in a Seattle newspaper, and they joke that he's the last photojournalist in Seattle. That explains why they were so unobtrusive.

Other then that, life has been busy. I'm catching up with my wedding editing. Responding to emails. Like: What's your pricing? - Oh, you're too expensive.

Oh, a few weeks ago I booked a wedding for September, 2012.

Still torn between learning French or Spanish. Spanish would be so much more useful here in Texas. But I've always loved the French language, and visiting Toronto reminded me that it can still be useful.

Italian is also a beautiful tongue, although admittedly, it's less useful. But it's softer than Spanish, and has a lovely cadence to it.

I'm doing well- just got back from a 9 day roadtrip to Chicago that involved two days of tornadoes earlier this month. So for now, no other trips are planned... although I've been kicking around the idea of Ireland next year.

Congrats on your success so far. Booking for Sept 2012 must feel wonderful.

Thanks!

Ireland would be marvelous. That is one of the places I would like to visit before I die. A bunch of improv folks are going there for their giant fringe festival.
