The first 2 days I was whining about why I was there, and it was hot and there were storms and it was muddy.
But as the days wore on, I started to settle in, and it felt good.
I gave up rice while I was at Pennsic since there were less temptations, and I've continued to give up rice. It was my main carbohydate at meals, and now my waist is slowly getting smaller. I really suck at restrictive diets so this has been a major change for me. As a result I'm doing a semi-paleo diet.
I also decided to play in the SCA again. It is a good community, and yes there are douchebags in it like any other people group, but there are a lot of awesome helpful people.
Also, it made me refocus on my fitness. I noticed that my dancing stamina had flagged and I need to get my cardio up. As a result I went to contra dancing on wednesday and I think I'm going again today.
