So today was my second day on the whey protein spinach shake and I've a headache. And I can barely breathe. My allergies are acting up. I also noticed a slight headache yesterday. Upon researching online, apparently some people get headaches from whey protein, and if so, they might be lactose intolerant. So. Am I lactose intolerant? I notice that I eat dairy every single day. So I might have to give it up for a week and see what happens.
I still like the idea of the protein shake, so I may just use the Vegan/Raw protein powders that are out there, like rice protein or sprouted grains. But dairy powder might be out of the picture.
Or make a smoothie but just minus the protein powder, because surely 1.5 cups of spinach per day is good for me.
